Vitality with Enzymes

Posted on October 14th, 2011 | 6 comments

This post is for those of you that may be struggling with uncomfortable stomach concerns—things like bloating, or stagnant, undigested food. It can be difficult to determine which foods contribute to the problem, but fortunately Young Living just launched a handful of new products to help!

D. Gary Young announced two great new enzyme products at last month’s Orlando convention, Essentialzymes-4 and the newly formulated Essentialzyme. Each has been specially formulated to support various stages of the digestive process.

Essentialzymes-4 combines all the benefits of Carbozyme, Fiberzyme, Lipozyme, and Polyzyme into 2 convenient dual-time release capsules. The plant-based enzyme releases immediately upon entering the stomach, allowing it to be broken down and absorbed more efficiently. The animal-based enzyme doesn’t release until it reaches the lower intestine, where the alkaline environment and pH level offers better absorption. Both enzymes help your body more efficiently break down fats, proteins, fiber, and carbohydrates,.

I especially like the new blister packaging, which makes it easy to drop in my pocket or purse and enjoy the enzyme benefits when I’m away from home.

I’ve also been using the newly formulated Essentialzyme and have seen great results (I’m told this will be available to everyone by the end of the year). Designed to help with bloating and related issues, it also features delayed release technology to aid both digestive and pancreatic functions.

As a family, we have noticed a dramatic improvement to our overall health with the use of these products. We have been taking them both for 2 weeks and are absolutely delighted with their benefits in assisting healthy digestion. These enzyme products have resulted in greater vitality, energy, and passion.

Leaping Over Emotional Hurdles

Posted on October 7th, 2011 | one comment

Life can take a toll on your body and emotions. Too many people don’t understand this connection. Instead of releasing emotions and healing, individuals continue to push their emotions deeper and deeper. Left unchecked, negative feelings like anger, pain, and fear can move into the stomach, kidney, liver, heart, or other vital systems—essentially taking over the body and mind. In turn this drives emotions deeper into the body, creating a negative downward spiral.

Young Living essential oils offer natural solutions to combat and overcome negative emotions. The Golden Touch 1™ kit, along with sacred frankincense, can be used to release deep, negative feelings, which will help you overcome emotional hurdles. Just follow these easy steps:

  • DiGize™: If you are experiencing ongoing digestive issues, rub a few drops of DiGize on your abdomen to help release emotions stored in the stomach.
  • EndoFlex™: Apply a few drops of EndoFlex over your kidneys to let go of the fear that might stop you from moving forward.
  • Melrose™: Emotions can be taxing to your system. Apply Melrose to your solar plexus (upper stomach area) to help reduce mental fatigue.
  • Raven™: Rub a few drops of Raven on your chest to release tension in the body that is hard process and let go of.
  • R.C.™: Your lungs and circulatory system can also be affected by emotions. Diffuse R.C. to help process negative emotions stored in these areas.
  • Thieves®: Rub Thieves on the bottoms of your feet to give your body and immune system the support and protection it needs to overcome unwanted emotions.
  • Sacred Frankincense: Use sacred frankincense to improve mental clarity and spiritual well-being.

By using these wonderful oils you are adding to the power within to overcome hurdles that might be standing in your way of achieving greater wellness, purpose, and abundance.

Raindrop for Kids

Posted on August 8th, 2011 | 2 comments

We all know that children love to play and have fun. They are also good at exchanging germs. With summer coming to a close and school just around the corner, there will be greater opportunity for them to pick up germs. They get them on the playground, in the classroom, and from other children. So what can parents and grandparents do to strengthen their children? I suggest giving them the wonderful benefits of Young Living’s Raindrop Technique® kit to support their immune system as they start school.

If you have any concerns about using essential oils on children, try the oils on their feet first. Be sure to follow individual label instructions and dilute oils with V‑6™ Enhanced Vegetable Oil Complex when using topically. Follow-up the initial application to the feet with a light application to the back as indicated below. Keep an eye out for reddening of the skin and let the child know to tell you if he or she feels any burning or discomfort. If this happens, you can easily add V‑6™ Enhanced Vegetable Oil Complex to cool down the skin.

To perform the Raindrop, have the child lay quietly on a bed or massage table on his or her back.

1. Start with Valor®. Put a drop in each hand. Cross your arms and apply Valor to the child’s feet. Hold the feet and wait for an energy change in the body.

2. Have the child roll on to his or her tummy to put the oils on the back. Rub your finger over the bottle to get a small amount of oil on your finger, then rub the oil up the back starting at the lower back. Watch for any redness or discomfort.

3. One at a time apply oregano, thyme, basil, cypress, wintergreen, marjoram, and peppermint to the back. Children can be more sensitive to the oils, so be sure to check after each oil to make sure there is no redness or discomfort and apply V‑6 oil if necessary.

The Raindrop Technique is a great way to prepare kids for school and winter. It’s also a great way to get them used to using Young Living’s essential oils at an early age.

Peace be with you,

Kaye Lynne Murphy, LMT

The Power of Scent

Posted on July 19th, 2011 | one comment

Do you know that smell can trigger memories and bring the memories back? You have experienced familiar smells, like your grandma’s bread baking or freshly cut grass. When you first smelled these kinds of aromas, your brain created new associations from the smell and the experience. It automatically attaches the positive or negative emotion you are feeling at the time of the smell. So, in the future when you experience the smell again, you also experience the positive or negative emotion associated with that smell. Aromatherapy—the use of aromatic plants for wellness—acts in a similar way. An aromatic plant oil is breathed in and can trigger the sense of an emotion. Emotions such sadness, grief, or anger can be released and replaced with positive emotions such as joy, comfort, peace, and calmness.

Now for some practical uses of Young Living’s therapeutic-grade essential oils. Here are a few simple steps you can use with Release™ and Joy™ oil blends to rid yourself of unwanted emotions and replace them with desirable ones:

  1. Place a few drops of Release over the liver and hold it as you feel heat release and emotions calm.
  2. Add a few drops of Joy to your bath water to uplift your mood before you start the day.
  3. Diffuse Release for a time then Joy throughout the house to move stale air.
  4. When negative emotions try to creep back, apply Release to the heart.
  5. Put Joy on the crown of the head to invigorate, enhance, and create positive emotions.

In the morning, when you pop out of bed, start the day right by grabbing Joy essential oil blend to empower you to take on the challenges of the day. In your first waking moments, prepare your body for the day both emotionally and spirituality. The right combination of oils can really help your day go smoothly. At night use Release to clear and let go of any negative experiences you had during the day, then sleep well until you start another morning with Joy.

Peace be with you,

Young Living Feelings Essential Oil Kit and Pregnancy

Posted on September 14th, 2010 | 3 comments

Pregnant bellyPregnancy can be a fun and exciting time for mom as she brings a child into the world. It may cause different feelings to surface and emotions to change. These changes may start right away, and are experienced differently by each person. I would like to share with you some of the changes that you might face, and how they may be eased with the help of Young Living’s Feelings™ Kit.

Tension and Stress
Tension and stress are emotional concerns that may run through your mind. You may experience feelings like “Am I ready for this?” or “Will the baby be all right?” Apply Harmony™ oil to the sides of the body. It will help you relax and let go of stress, tension, and fear. Then you can process your emotions easier, and learn to enjoy pregnancy.

Energy
Because of the changes during pregnancy, you may often feel drained. This can cause emotional energy blocks in the body, and leave you feeling worn out. Apply Young Living’s essential oil of Valor® to your shoulders. It may help you have more strength and courage to process and let go of the emotional blocks, thus improving your energy level.

Fear
Fear is a normal emotion you may experience during pregnancy. It may leave you feeling afraid about the baby’s development and the labor and delivery process. You may think, “What if something goes wrong?” Apply Release™ oil to your head. It may help you release the emotion of fear, and bring you into an attitude where you are able to let go of that negative emotion.

Hormonal Imbalance
It is well known that pregnancy changes the hormones in a woman’s body. The hormonal changes can be stressful at times. It may affect different areas of the body, such as the liver, stomach, and kidneys. It may result in the discharge of toxins though the body. All of this may hold you back from balancing your emotions. Apply Present Time to the back of the neck. It may help bring you into the here and now and balance the emotions you may be experiencing. It can also ground the body and release emotional blocks.

Frustration and Nervousness
At times the pregnant mommy may feel frustrated and nervous. This can be caused by the physiological changes from pregnancy or the many emotions you may be feeling. If you are feeling frustrated and nervous, maybe the first step is to use Inner Child™ oil. Put Inner Child under the nose. This essential oil may help ease your mind. It may provide what is needed to stimulate your memory to reconnect with your inner self. This can help you find emotional stability and bring joy to your heart, mind, and body.

Ups and Downs
Sometimes during pregnancy you may experience hard times with cycles of ups and downs. It might be difficult for you to calm down. From all the physical and emotional changes you are going though, you might also be fighting some sadness and feeling down. Apply Forgiveness™ oil to the heart. You may feel a shift in the body or a feeling of lightness. Draw in Forgiveness and let it improve the attitude and help with a sense of grounding and well being.

These quick, simple, and easy steps may help bring changes to help relieve the pregnant mommy. They can help you cope with the nine months of pregnancy and better handle some of the emotional discomfort and stress you may experience during pregnancy.

Peace be with you,

Kaye Lynne

Feelings Kit Allows New Beginnings

Posted on August 27th, 2009 | one comment

Young Living has some amazing essential oil collections. One that is Gary Young’s favorite is Feelings. Gary found that these six essential oil blends lift the senses above negativity and move one forward despite painful memories.

The blends inside Feelings are Valor®, Harmony™, Forgiveness™, Inner Child™, Release™, and Present Time™. You may have tried these oils individually, but not together as prescribed in the Feelings regimen. Feelings shows you where to apply these oils for harmonic balance. Applying the Feelings oils is easy: Apply Valor to the feet, Harmony to a preferred chakra point, Forgiveness to the navel, Present Time behind the ears, Release over the liver, Inner Child under the nose, and Valor one more time on the feet (check out the Product Information Page).

Listen to you your body as the oils are applied. Application may take up to two hours as part of meditation.

Listen here to Gary talk about the Feelings Kit.

I would love to hear your testimony of using the Feelings essential oil blends.
