Holiday Pampering Using Young Living Beauty Products

Posted on December 18th, 2013 | 9 comments

For those who are in search of that perfect gift among the holiday chaos and crowds, why not choose a quiet moment and give yourself or a loved one a quick beauty rejuvenation facial massage? In just minutes, you will feel relaxed and revitalized.

BEAUTY REJUVENATION FACIAL MASSAGE

Preparation:

  1. Place a warm towel on your face. Gently wipe off any dirt or debris. If time permits, we suggest cleaning your face with your favorite Young Living product.
  2. One at a time, gently and quickly tap each of your fingers on your face. This will bring the blood to the surface and stimulate your nervous system.
  3. Put a small amount of  A.R.T® Creme Masque on your fingertips. (The massage will be most beneficial if you keep a small amount of product on your fingers.)

Eye Area:

  1. Place the pad of your index and middle fingers on the side of your nose.
  2. Hold for 3-4 seconds.
  3. Sweep your fingers toward your ears until your fingers fall off your face.
  4. Repeat 3 times to bring energy to your under-eye area.

Forehead:

  1. With the pads of your left fingers on your left eyebrow, sweep your fingers up to your hairline with a firm, circular motion.
  2. Repeat this action on the right side.

Jawline:

  1. Beginning with the left side of your face, place the index and middle finger pads of your left hand on your chin. (Your index finger is on top of your chin; your middle finger is underneath.)
  2. With a firm yet gentle motion, move your fingers from your chin and up your jawline until you reach your ears.
  3. Repeat on the right side.
  4. Alternate 3 times, making a total of 6 lifting movements.

Neck:

  1. Place your left hand on the left side of your neck with your fingers pointing toward your left ear. Your pinky finger will be closest to your jawline, while your thumb will be closest to your décolletage.
  2. Start at the base of your neck and slide your hand up your neck.
  3. Alternate with the right side.
  4. With just your fingers, alternate your hands while gently massaging your windpipe.

This quick massage will heighten blood flow, helping your skin keep its pliancy and tone. We suggest using A.R.T® Creme Masque because it is good for all skin types. When using your favorite Young Living moisturizer—A.R.T® Day ActivatorA.R.T® Night Reconstructor, Sandalwood Moisture Cream, or Boswellia Wrinkle Cream —we suggest adding the following essential oils to meet the individual needs of your skin.*

My mother who has always maintained good skin, taught me to always take care of it, using minimal, yet quality products. She loves the ess. oils for the skin. Naturally, I wanted to give back to her! We love the ART Skin care, the Boswellia Wrinkle Cream, and the Rose Ointment. So, with my mother, and many sisters, these are the items I love to give. Then, for stocking stuffers, there is the lip balms & ess. oils such as Elemi, Lavender & Geranium.

The lip balms and facial masks make great stocking stuffers. And any of the products in the ART line would make a person happy!

  • Jan Odle

I add a drop of lavendar to my morning moisrurizer. It brightens up my skin and helps with the under eye puffiness.

  • Donna Grace

I have given ART products, lotion and lip balms as gifts.

I am a new YL member and have fallen in love with the lavender oil. I have been using it on chapped lips, dry hands and cuts. I plan on making some samples of it to give to close family and friends. I can’t wait to try some of the other YL skin products.

I love using YL products like the lip balm and ART masque as stocking stuffers!

Here are some of my Young Living beauty tips:

-Add 1 drop lavender oil to your mascara tube for luscious lashes
-Add 1 drop peppermint oil to your lipgloss for tingling lips
-Mix 1 drop roman chamomile and 1 drop cypress to aloe vera gel for dark under eye circles
-Add ART toner to a spray bottle to refresh your skin on hot days
    - Use Citrus Fresh blend under chin to help keep skin taught and minimize double chin
