I recently sat down with Marc Shreuder, Young Living’s Director of Product Formulation, to record the upcoming Wellness Essentials audio program. I asked him about copal essential oil and what makes it Young Living Therapeutic Grade™ (YLTG). Marc gave me some great insight into the oil that I want to share with you.
As part of the Young Living Marketing Communications Team, I’m excited to announce that our new Seasonal Essentials: Holiday Catalog 2008 is available now—giving our customers plenty of time to choose which Young Living products to share for the holidays (and which ones to keep for themselves). This catalog is a great way to get a head start on your holiday gifts and features exclusive holiday gift packs, holiday promotional items, and two all-new products. All of the holiday products featured are available starting today, October 15, until December 31, 2008. Plus, each holiday pack comes with a complimentary gift bag to make wrapping easy!
Though it’s hard to choose a favorite, when people ask me what my favorite Young Living product is, I have to say that it’s Thieves® Household Cleaner. I use this product every day in more ways than I ever thought possible. Every load of laundry and each time I turn on the dishwasher, I add a capful. When cleaning the bathroom or scrubbing my floors, I always reach for my Thieves House Cleaner and the germ-fighting power of Thieves essential oil blend. When I got grease on a favorite sweater, it was the only thing that worked. I’ll never go back to harsh, synthetic cleaners again! Just ask my friends and family, I’ve converted them too.
Young Living’s Thieves essential oil blend was created based on the historical account of four thieves in France who protected themselves from the black plague with cloves, rosemary, and other aromatics while robbing victims of the killer disease. When captured, the thieves were offered a lighter sentence in exchange for their secret recipe.
This morning I went for a walk with my dog, Porter. The Wasatch Mountains appeared as though they were on fire as the rising sun highlighted the newly orange, red, and yellow leaves. Autumn is officially here—and that means the cold and flu season is just around the corner.
With the post-summer drop in humidity and as people begin spending more time indoors, buildings become something of breeding grounds for germs. These germs are able to move more freely, thanks in part to dry winter air.
Right now is the right time to strengthen and fortify your immune system for the cold and flu season. The best way to stay healthy and reduce your risk for flu and cold is by eating a healthy diet rich in fruits and vegetables, exercising, and getting a good night’s sleep. Young Living has a number of products to supplement your efforts.
