The NingXia Red Difference

In a market flooded with nearly 100 functional drinks, it is important to understand what makes NingXia Red® unique and how this product can enhance your life and the lives of others.

Let’s start with NingXia Red’s natural infusion of orange and lemon oils. These Young Living Therapeutic Grade™ essential oils include d-limonene, a powerful antioxidant—and NingXia Red is the only essential oil-infused supplement on the market!

NingXia Red also contains only the finest wolfberries from the Ningxia Province in China. Combined with other powerful antioxidant ingredients—such as blueberries, pomegranates, raspberries, and red grapes—these wolfberries contribute to NingXia Red’s incredible antioxidant protection from harmful free radicals.

This synergistic blend of NingXia Red is formulated to give you that extra boost of energy that you need during the day. In addition to natural, sustainable energy, NingXia Red also replenishes the valuable nutrients that your body needs to maintain health.

Great post, Jason. But can you do some checking on d-limonene? My impression is that the true naturally-occurring compound in many of our products is limonene (without the D). I think that d-limonene is the manufactured, synthetic copy cat used in so many medical studies today and in so-called orange-scented cleaners and air fresheners. What we have is SOOO much better than the fake stuff.

Hi- I’m curious being in sunlight while consuming this product. In the “refernce Guide for Essential Oils” both the orange and lemon oils warn to stay out of direct sunlight for up to 12 hours after use.
    Thanks!

My wife and I like some of the oils, but she did not tolerate the NingXia Red. It weakened and sickened her. She had her health practioner (Bowen Method) test her and she tested negative for it. Has anyone else had that problem?

I have a friend who has cancer in multiple places and is dealing with chemotherapy and I was wondering if anyone has any experiences with the Ninxia Red for people in this situation.

Paul Boatwright: I’m not well-versed in the Bowen method, but I’m very familiar with “bio-feedback” in general. Off the top of my head, here are several explanations for your wife’s experience…

    1. NingXia Red performs much better with water. Like lemons, it’s very acidic in the bottle but turns alkaline during the digestive process. This acidic beginning can be tough for those with sensitive digestive systems. It’s always been recommended to dilute NingXia Red in water to support this transition from acid to alkaline and many people find it more palatable. Personally, I love the flavor…I swig it straight from the bottle and chase it with lots of water.

    2. Our bodies need a break from everything. Eating eggs every day all your life can lead to imbalances because it will create an abundance of certain compounds contained in the eggs and a shortage of compounds needed to digest the egg. Same goes for carrots or anything else. The body loves variety. With that in mind, I’ve known many people who use a negative bio-feedback test as an excuse to no longer take NingXia Red. In most cases they’ve been taking NingXia Red for a long time already. In my opinion, a negative test in those cases is NOT an indication that the juice is bad for them. It’s more of an indication that it’s not a priority at the moment because the body already has an abundance of those nutrients and would like to add some different ones. Give it a rest a day or two–as Gary Young has always suggested with all our products–and chances are the body will soon crave it again. (Incidentally, I have very little patience for those who use bio-feedback as an excuse NOT to take something as healthy as NingXia Red while they NEVER bio-feedback the hamburger and junk food the eat throughout the day. In my opinion, the bottom line for most people is that NingXia Red will likely be the healthiest thing they eat all day, no matter what the bio-feedback results may be.)

    3. Difficulty digesting NingXia Red can indicate a lack of digestive enzymes. Many people have found that using YL enzymes–especially Polyzyme–makes drinking NingXia Red a more pleasant experience. Of course, the addition of enzymes when one is already that deficient is likely to have much bigger health benefits than simply giving one the ability to drink NingXia Red.

There are probably an infinite number of possibilities for why someone might not test for NingXia Red. We’re all different…not only our bodies, but our thoughts and all the outside forces that influence us…all of which will impact a bio-feedback test. Even doing the test 2 minutes later will mean a new person is being tested…things have moved in the colon, thousands of cells have died and thousands born…thousands of thoughts have happened and millions, billions of subconscious stimuli have changed the person and the situation. There is certainly no reason to feel obligated to drink NingXia Red when we have so many product options. But I hope the reasoning above will provide some “structure” against which to measure the results of any bio-feedback. While bio-feedback may be a wonderful tool at times, it’s best when used with many other methods of analysis which, when combined, create a much clearer picture of what is really happening.

The amazing little blueberry has emerged as nature’s number one source of antioxidants among fresh fruits and vegetables.
