Does eating an apple a day really keep the doctor away?
It would be easy if that’s all it took to get the necessary nutrients our bodies need; however, meeting our daily nutritional requirements can be a little tricky. To get the 13 different vitamins and 17 different minerals that our bodies require to function effectively, we need to consume five to seven servings of fruits and vegetables per day. These vitamins are necessary for the production of red blood cells and minerals are needed to help regulate body functions, release energy, and assist growth.
Food is a major source of vitamins and minerals, but due to over processing and poor handling, many of the nutrients found naturally in the food we eat are removed or depleted before they even reach us. In addition, the typical diet consists of foods that are less than stellar: which is just another reason to consider taking a multivitamin.
Young Living created True Source™ using dried superfood powders, whole-food vitamins and minerals, and other nutrients. The result is an impressive formulation that will change the way you look at daily multivitamins. True Source supplies a broad spectrum of what you’ve come to expect in a multivitamin: B vitamins, vitamins A, C, D, E, and K, folic acid, selenium, zinc, potassium, iodine, and magnesium.
So before I leave the house each morning I make sure I grab my packet of True Source; it’s just about as easy as eating an apple a day and it’s much more effective! With a good night’s rest, a morning workout, and proper nutrition, your body will thank you.
