With hundreds of distributors in attendance, we held our first-ever Young Living Beauty School March 1–2. With two days of in-depth instruction and well-deserved pampering, we not only learned more about our skin-care products, but we also learned more about one another. Making new friendships and connecting with like-minded people was one of the many worthwhile and unforgettable experiences. With so many memorable highlights to choose from, let’s recap a few of the very best moments.
Gary Young’s surprise visit and inspirational words was definitely a highpoint, which was evident by the overwhelming feedback from our distributors. Along with appreciation for his attendance, many remarks included the following sentiment that is captured by this distributor’s comment: “I was humbled that you [Gary] took the time to honor the women and let us know that as a group, we are important.”
Mary Young’s words of encouragement were another highlight. Her grace and intelligence was appreciated by all, and one distributor stated, “Mary, thank you so much for wrapping your arms around all of us and making this happen. I am so proud to be associated with Young Living.”
When returning from a break, each distributor discovered a beauty kit that was filled with samples and swag, a lovely beauty booklet brimming with product information, and a bottle of essential oil created exclusively for our Beauty School that is befittingly named Jeuenesse, which is French for “youth.” As the distributors discovered all their gifts, the “oohs” and “ahhs” made the elated energy in the room nearly palpable.
Before closing the event, the distributors participated in an auction to benefit the upcoming World Peace Caravan. The support and generosity of the distributors was astounding. Watching them bid to help a worthy cause was impressive. Young Living not only has the best products and essential oils available today, but we also have the most remarkable distributors with big hearts and a desire to share, serve, and make life better. One distributor sweetly wrote, “Dear, precious Young Living: When I count my blessings, I count you twice!” I’d like to add, “Dear, amazing Distributors: The feeling is mutual!”
